Core demonstrator for a confidential project

STARTING POINT
Design a new casing for a confidential product developed at VanBerlo, a design agency based in The Netherlands.
The demonstrator will be showcased in the office core, which serves as a display for VanBerlo projects.
IDEATION
I start by brainstorming and creating different concepts, looking for a narrative where
I can effectively showcase the functionalities, but hide the actual product.
CHOSEN ROUTE
The goal is to present an intriguing appearance that enhances the secrecy of the project.
SHAPE ITERATION
The process continues with iterative adjustments from CAD modeling to 3D printing, aiming to achieve the perfect shape for the new casing.
RESULTS
The final design features a translucent casing that provides a teasing view of its interior. The real product is securely held inside by three-dimensional letters that embody VanBerlo’s vision and mission.
